From the archives: Linnet

First off I'd like to apologise for all this dull weather we've been having lately as it appears that, when the sun IS shining, all I have to do is step outside with the camera and within five minutes it's as black as your hat! For everyone's sake I'll try to stay in for a few days!

I'm still prepping images for the new website. I'm working on stuff from the summer of 2010 at the moment, when I spent a few morning with a pair of linnets. I was obviously feeling a bit arty when I took this shot. It was taken through a whole in a bush which gives it the mushy surround.

I have a feeling there's going to be a lot of these 'from the archive...' shots over the coming weeks as my strike rate so far for this year is abysmal!
