In February of last year I mentioned on this blog that I was struggling to get a shot of one of the bullfinches that visit the garden. Roll on eleven months and I finally got one this morning!
Cheers Andy. I'm ridiculously pleased with the first shot - it's been a long wait to get it! Hopefully now that I've broke my duck on them I'll get lucky more often (that's usually the way it works!) Happy new year to you too!
Thanks Oscar. Three males and one female visiting at the moment, hoping this will increase when we have a cold snap. None of them use my feeders though which is a tad annoying as it would give me more options. Not complaining though!
ReplyDeleteA couple of beauties, but the first image is just blooming marvelous. Happy New Year, Simon.
Cheers Andy.

Agree with Andy Simon, that first shot is a stunner! Not too bad having them in your garden!

ReplyDeleteCheers Gary. I always call it stubbornness! (spellchecker's put two n's in that and it doesn't look right!)
ReplyDeleteA beautiful bird, well done Simon.
